What is orbital welding?
Orbitalsvetsning är en automatiserad TIG-svetsmetod där svetshuvudet roterar runt ett fast monterat rör. Metoden används när svetsen behöver hålla mycket hög och jämn kvalitet, till exempel i processrör, rostfria rörsystem och installationer med höga krav på hygien, spårbarhet och repeterbarhet.
När bör man välja orbitalsvetsning?
Orbitalsvetsning är särskilt lämpligt vid rörinstallationer där kvaliteten behöver vara konsekvent från fog till fog. Det kan handla om läkemedelsindustri, livsmedelsproduktion, processindustri, renrumsmiljöer och andra anläggningar där täthet, hygien och dokumentation är viktiga delar av projektet.
What is the difference between TIG welding and orbital welding?

What does an orbital welder do?
